Skywatcher Synscan EQ-5 support (OSX)

Is there a way to control a Skywatcher Synscan EQ-5 mount with SNPP on OSX Snow Leopard?

It worked with other planetarium software (Stelarium, CdC etc).

Is there a workaround ?
