Non OpenGL Display Option

I used to use SN Pro Plus to control my EQ6 directly via EQMOD. In my new setup I have a scope mounted PC which controls the scope and camera equipment directly. I control the scope mounted PC via windows remote desktop over a network connection from a local PC. However, I have found that remote desktop does not support the OpenGL features of SN, so SN crashes when opened under remote desktop. So I now have to use an alternative planetarium software to control the scope. I'm sure I'm not the only person using remote scope access, so it would be a really useful feature if you could optionally turn off the OpenGL graphics and have a slightly more basic graphic output that supports remote desktop. I have tried some other remote control software (eg Teamviewer) but this has it's own problems with monitor resolutions.

I am trying to set up the same configuration and encountering the same problem. My fall back is to use Cartes du Ceil which works fine over Remote Desktop.

My advice is to use Teamviewer.  I use it all the time, it works fine both over a network or the internet to control Starry Night.  Plus teamviewer is free for personal use!!  Its a win-win!!  So, give it a go.
