Save-able place marks for objects you select.

Can't believe SN does not offer this. Red Shift does, and I may stop using SN and switch to them because of this problem. I want to clearly mark certain objects, constellations, etc etc. in a way that is saved in the default file or other file. Just like a Goggle Earth "placemark" works would be idea. For example: I want to  select and mark for easy identification the Southern Cross, Eta Carina, Orion, and perhaps a deep space nebulae. I want to be able to SAVE those marks so that when I open SN again, the marks I made are still there, without having to go through the tedious process of "finding" and then "Selecting" them every time I open SN. I Understand you can mark  certain things, like The Zodiac, or all the Messier objects, or the celestial north pole, etc., but one cannot mark and save individual objects as are found in the "find" function. Seems like such an obvious need, I'm surprised others have not mentioned it.
