multiple FOV indicators with different reducers?

Originally from ticket #6696.

I have two field flatteners which I can fit to two telescopes. When I choose one field flattener on one scope, for a CCD, it changes the CCD field flattener setting on the 2nd scope too, to match. I would like to set them independently.

I'm trying to set up my FOV indicators on SNP by completing the telescope, flattener and CCD information in the FOV tab. As stated previously I have two flatteners and two telescopes which can be used in any combination.

If I select the CCD FOV in both telescope tabs (H18 in the enclosed image), I cannot set one to the flattener which is has 1.0x factor and the other with a the flattener of 0.8x. Whichever I select last for a scope, it changes the other scope FOV indicator at the same time. It's a basic programming issue.

    Chris,

This appears to be a bug in Starry Night which we'll have to address in a future update. One workaround would be to create a copy of your H18 CCD (called e.g. "H18 Copy") and select that on your second scope. That will allow the selection of the second field flattener.

    Thanks for the report!
