V6 had 4 buttons marked NSEW. Clicking on one took the view to that cardinal point. Is this possible in V7?

Yes, it still the same in V7. Click in NSEW to point in that direction.

Grant Martin I see no NSEW buttons anywhere. Are they buried in a menu somewhere? I've attached a screen shot for verification.

Grant Martin I should have mentioned that I saw no mention of those buttons in the users guide. Do they go by another name? Perhaps you might be able to point me to the page where they are documented.

Keiron Smith On your computer keyboard. Press the N key, press the S key, etc. The shortcuts are listed on page 141.

Grant Martin Yeah, kinda-sorta. I stopped using keyboard shortcuts when I found myself carrying a paper notebook with pages of hotkey listings for a bunch of applications. Sigh. Any chance we're going to see the original button bar make a comeback? This new interface is less efficient and more troublesome (especially at the scope) than it's worth. Sorry

Grant Martin WAIT a minute. Your first comment said the buttons were still there (but I don't have any). Now you say use the keys. What the hell? Are there several versions of this interface????
