I have starry night pro plus 6 and have downloaded an upgrade to version 7 but when I try to install it, it says it can't install on the following windows systems and lists all 64 bit operating systems. I have a 64 bit windows 7 computer and definitely downloaded the .exe file for windows. All the prerequisites are installed. Please respond quickly.

Keiron Smith Hi All,
Please go to Control Panel ---> Windows updates ---> Apply/install all essential and important updates for your operating system.
Then retry the installation. It will work.
If Windows Updates says there are no updates available then please go here:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows/service-packs-download#sptabs=win7
Download and install the SP1 update for your OS.Reinstall Starry Night 7.
Kind regards,
Keiron

Douglas Macduff I'd like to add that I've always purchased my versions of Starry Nights elsewhere and never ran into a problem. This company here SC isn't the original keepers/owners of SN, correct? I don't know why I purchased my upgrade of 7 here. I dislike the layout completely. After years of Enthusiast 6 and before, to suddenly change the entire layout? Creepy. I use E6 mostly. Now this update doesn't work. What else?

Douglas Macduff where is my original comment? Also, does anyone remember the name of the file we downloaded to upgrade from E6 to version7?
