Telescope plugins

I have SN Enthusiast 7. It has "telescope control" as a selectable item. I have four telescopes and thought I would like to give SN a try. When I started the "telescope control" program it said. "Starry Night did not detect any valid telescope plugins in plugin folder". I would like to try this program on my Celestron Nexstar SE. Is this program supposed to work? If it is, how do I get these plugins?

 Thank you,   Richard

Enthusiast 7 is not supposed to include telescope control.  Telescope control is not included as part of the Enthusiast 7 feature list.  As such, it is a non-intended, and non-supported feature; i.e. it is de facto broken by being there.

    Apologies for the misleading feature.

If you want telescope control functionality consider upgrading to SN7 Pro - and the telescope control feature will work, I promise.

I have Starry Night Pro 6.0.6 and I was never asked to supply a plugin and my telescope configure is also grayed out.  How do I add a plugin.  I downloaded the ASCOM drivers, but they don't seem to be connected to Starry Night in any way.  I am trying to control my Meade RCX-400 12" with this program.

    Hi Curt,

This is the forum for Starry Night V7 community help.  Please post questions about Starry Night V6 in the forum here:

    https://support.simulationcurriculum.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/201239147-Starry-Night-Version-6-Software-Programs

To answer you question, the reason you're finding difficulty with your SN Pro 6 is because you have not updated to the latest version - which is 6.4.3.  Once you update to 6.4.3 everything will be okay.  You can get the 6.3.3 and the 6.4.3 updates from here:

    Thanks!
