Looking for L1 point Space Missions

Hello,

I have been unsuccessful in obtaining TLE or other ephemeris information for specific space missions due to these objects orbiting in the L1 point. I had planned on manually entering this information to establish a new satellite. Starry Night does have one L1 point resident (SOHO) in its inventory. Space Track org site does not carry the TLEs for those I am interested in; ACE, CHDR and WIND. Can you tell me where you obtain your TLE/ephemeris data and also do you have or can you direct me to ACE, CHDR and WIND ephemeris? Or perhaps you have ephemeris data for L1 location?

    HI Bruce,

    We use data from http://celestrak.com - but we couldn’t find TLEs for those satellites you mentioned - we checked a few other sites and the orbit was not available - maybe they're decommissioned or military hardware...

    Update:

    You can’t get TLEs for objects at the L1 position, because that isn’t an Earth orbit like most satellites.

    We think this might be setup as an “Asteroid” with the right orbital elements or, more likely a Space Mission.  But, we'll have to look into it more.

    Hello,

    Yes, I am aware of no TLEs for L1 objects. Can you direct me to ephemeris parameters for the above mentioned spacecraft so that a manual entry (artificanl satellite) to Starry Night can be made (inclination, eccentricity, ascending node, arg of pericentre, preicentre time)?
