How do I get the crosshairs to stay in the middle of the screen?

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to use SS7 to locate the South Celestial Pole so I can align my telescope's mount.

I do have crosshairs turned on, but, they are fixed to a position in the sky.  On the horizon and the E(ast) symbol.

What I want is to have the crosshairs centered on the screen so I can place the crosshair on the South Celestial Pole as I move the phone.

Any ideas?
