I am running Sky Safari 6 on two pre-Android 11 devices. I am trying to sync my observations with Live Sky and get the error message that I have no internet connection within Sky Safari and cannot access Live Sky. Both devices are able to reach the Live Sky website with an external browser, so the problem is in Sky Safari. This has been happening for two months.
Can anybody help?
I have the same problem with new installation. I can't to connect Sky Safari 6 to my existing livesky account.

A have the same problem with one of my old phone with old installation of SkySafari and already configured livesky account. It can't to connect to livesky, after march 2024.
I also have SkySafari 6 installed on android 7 in vmware, and there is no problem with livesky on it.
It looks like it's the problem with internet connection checks, which gives false negative result about internet connection on some old android devices.

I have Sky Safari 6 pro ver 6.8.8.0.
My device is a Samsung Tab S2, running android 7.0 (which is the latest version that can be run).
I have problem on:
1. Honor 4c Pro TIT-L01, android 5.1, EMUI 3.1 Lite, Sky Safari Pro v6.3.2.46
2. Honor 8 FRD-L09, Android 7.0, EMUI 5.0.1, Sky Safari Pro v6.7.8.1
And there is NO problem on:
1. Samsung Galaxy M31 SM-M315F/DSN, Android 10, Sky Safari Pro v6.8.3.0
2. Samsung Galaxy M01, Sky Safari Pro v6.7.8.1
3. VMWare on my PC, Android x86 v7.1.2, Sky Safari Pro v6.3.2.46

Yes, developers are releasing an update that shows itemized status for SkySafari data - with a manual back option that will also connect to LiveSky.
Check for app updates.
