How do I choose which tools I want to appear at the bottom of the screen while holding my iPhone in portrait mode?

  Go to Settings>Appearance & Behavior>Configure Toolbar and then use the grab bars at the far right of the Tool line item & drag it into the the top 5 of the list. The top 5 listed tools are Always Visible in portrait mode.
