SkySafari "Use Current Time" on, with "Automatic Daylight Saving Time" on, shows wrong time (shows an hour ahead).
This is quite a fundamental problem, as it certainly screws up alignment, no?

Thank you for the response. In trying to document, this seems to be my error. Somehow, I entered my location as UTC -6 (probably had daylight savings slider turned off when I saved the location), when actually the correct time zone is UTC -7 + daylight savings...which meant to use now I had to turn off the daylight savings slider to get the right time...
