How Come Comet C/2023 A23 Tsuchinshan-Atlas Not Found In SkySafari 7 Pro? (Answer: Update Comet Data Files - Read On!)

A couple months ago, I thought I saw Comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas on SkySafair (using Pro 7), but now that it is here, it doesn’t show up at all. Can’t search for it, and does not show up in “Brightest Comets” list. Considering this comet is all over the news, I’m surprised it’s not showing on SS7. Is anyone else having this problem?   C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is definitely there.  If you go to settings - solar system and at the very bottom is the minor body orbit data current?

  Thanks Bruce. I followed your suggestion and it showed up.

  Interestingly, the next day when I looked again, it was missing from the list of Brightest Comets again. But I followed the same procedure to update the orbital data, and it came back into the list again.
