Starry Night 7 Crashing On Latest Versions Of MacOS (Solution: Upgrade To SN8 - Read On!)

Hello,


I have starry night 7 enthusiast. I got a new computer recently (Mac book pro), and when I open the .app I am prompted to enter my very long registration number. Then, many of the functions are grayed-out, unusable. Soon, the program crashes.

I was prompted to update the software today, so maybe the software update is causing the problem?

Please offer any help that you can!

    Issac,

    SN7 is not compatible with the latest versions of MacOS.  Even if you could get it to work the time and date will be missing because of the incompatibility with newer MacOS.

    To continue using Starry Night on Mac please upgrade to SN8.

    Of course that was for a 7 upgrade, not version 8. I don't know why Starry Night sent me a link to something that I cannot use. Later, I received a link for a new install of 8. That seems to be working.
