Can I Use SkySafari To Point My Telescope At Objects? (Answer: Yes - Using A Celestron StarSense Explorer Telescope - Read On!)
Everything works fine . I want to use the app with my telescope to point the object using the compass option of the app . The alignment of the compass sky map is such a way that - when pointing to a star, my phone alignment is perpendicular to that star , ( my camera side of the phone points to the star) . And I want the upper side of my phone to point the star ( phone is parallel to the star ) . like when using StarHopper , the phone is aligned with the telescope .
