Observe only a dedicated part of the sky with Skysafari Pro

I currently struggle trying to just search for objects with the observing-planner for a given part of the sky.
From my balcony I´m only able to see at the north-east to southern party of the sky. But I fail at setting this up in the  "Restrict to Ranges" section.
Is anybody able to help me out here how to set this up right?

Thank you
Felix

[AI-Reply] **Setting Up SkySafari Pro to Observe a Specific Part of the Sky**

To restrict your observing planner in SkySafari Pro to only show objects visible in the northeast to southern part of the sky, follow these steps:

    1. **Open SkySafari Pro**: Launch the app on your device.

    2. **Access the Observing Planner**:
    - Tap on the "Observe" button in the toolbar.
    - Select "Planner" from the options.

    3. **Set Object Types**:
    - Choose the types of objects you want to find (e.g., stars, planets, galaxies).

    4. **Restrict to Ranges**:
    - Look for the "Restrict to Ranges" section in the planner settings.
    - Here, you can set the altitude and azimuth limits:
    - **Altitude**: Set the minimum altitude to a value that corresponds to your horizon (e.g., +0° to include objects just above the horizon).
    - **Azimuth**: Set the azimuth range to cover the northeast to southern part of the sky. For example:
    - Minimum Azimuth: 45° (northeast)
    - Maximum Azimuth: 180° (south)

    5. **Apply Settings**: After setting the ranges, apply the changes to filter the objects based on your specified criteria.

    6. **Search for Objects**: Now, you should see a list of celestial objects that are visible in the specified part of the sky.

    ### Additional Tips:
    - Make sure your location settings are accurate to ensure the app provides the correct visibility information.
    - You can adjust the altitude and azimuth settings as needed based on your specific viewing conditions.
