Having nearly blown my mobile data limit twice recently, I used Android Settings to identify Sky Safari as the cause.
It used 400-500MB during a single observing session. Why would this be? What could it be doing while I'm observing? I do sync my observations to Livesky, but there's no way that should be generating such an amount of traffic. It's the kind of size that suggests a complete database download, but of course I've not requested one.
In Android I can stop an app using mobile data in background, but most of this usage is shown as foreground data so it wouldn't help. I could switch on airplane mode while observing, but I don't want to do that.

*please*, can you stop the "SimCurr LLM" window popping up every time I navigate to a new page in your web site?
