Pedro Braganca Official comment Hi Ellyn, SkySafari 7.6 is due out shortly (we'll submit it this week), and it will include support for SmartEye.

Mike Atkins The camera icon has never been in the settings menu or on the toolbar.

Ellyn Harries I have been reading the Pegasus SmartEye manual and on page 35, they give the instructions on how to do this in SkySafari 7 Pro and they state, "Press the camera icon on the toolbar...it will automatically attempt to connect to the current camera/imager." It clearly shows a camera icon to the right of the scope one. Weird. I downloaded SkySafari as Pegasus said to and this has been driving me crazy! Their manual is now online as a free download and maybe you can check it for me. I have added my telescope and the Pegasus SmartEye under telescope and camera via settings. Thanks ever so kindly for answering me and now I'm even more puzzled!

Mike Atkins I'll check into it. I don't have the smarteye but I can see what I can find out.

Mike Atkins Ah, #Pedro has important info. I've just learned something new about SkySafari, too.
#Ellyn read here, too. There is info in the quick start guide. The function to add the Smarteye is not currently not on the list in the Observe Menu.

Ellyn Harries Hi! So version 7.6 then. Whew! I was going nuts trying to figure it out! How do I upgrade to this new version. Gee, I just bought 7 Pro a week ago. Please help! I really appreciate you letting me know about the new one.

Pedro Braganca You will be notified via the App Store when the update is available. It will likely auto install in the background. The update is free.

Paul Bunnell I think I'm having the same issue. The Smart Eye manual says, "Press the “Camera” icon on the toolbar. When the Camera control is opened, it will
automatically attempt to connect to the current Camera / Imager as selected before." The manual shows the bottom menu with a "Camera" icon to the right of "Scope" but I have no such icon. I'm using Sky Safari 7 Plus for and Android phone, OS version 15. Am I missing something?EDIT: I see I'm on SkySafari v7.5.3.0 and it sounds like it should be available in v7.6. I hope that's soon!

web.jprch I had the same problem: Skysafari 7 Pro recognised the SmartEye, the configuration was OK, but the Camera icon did not appear in the toolbar or in the toolbar configuration.
I found a solution that allowed me to display the Camera icon in the toolbar.
In the toolbar configuration window, there is a link at the top right of the window to reset the toolbar. I clicked on this link and the icon then appeared in the list of icons available for the toolbar. I then activated it and it appeared in the Skysafari 7 Pro toolbar.
