Hi, After the latest app update to SkySafari7 - 7.6.2 (1161) - the app crashed after tapping the Scope Button from the menu bar. IOS 18.7 / iPad Pro (11 Zoll, 3. Generation) Revert to default settings did not help, any other idea ? Thanks and best regards, Mirko

Dave Whipps Official comment Hey all,
I've found and fixed the problem. It is only an issue on iPad, which I suppose is why it slipped through the QA cracks on this release.
I'm going to issue another release (7.6.3) very shortly.
Thanks everyone for your patience and your help finding this one.

Mirko Gude I also tried different presets, include demo interface, but this make no difference. App crashed, no connect button appears

Dave Whipps Mirko,
Can you clarify what this means? "11 Zoll, 3. Generation".
I'm not able to reproduce this issue, but I can see a crash log which gives me a little bit of information. I'm going to try to contact you via email.

Garry Bluhm Hi Dave,
Also have instant crash of SkySafari 7 Pro v7.6.2 (1161) when tapping the Scope button.
Using iPad Pro 11 M4 iOS 18.7Performed an Offload & Reload of SkySafari 7 Pro and still crashes.

Benjamin Bernard Same crash here, Dave Whipps I sent a sysdiagnose of the crash (see ticket #83189)

Carson Hanrahan Count me in with those having the problem too. iPadOS 18.7, iPad Air 4th gen. SS7Pro crashes out as soon as I tap the “Scope” button. Previous version worked fine as I was using it to control the scope for the transit of Titan late Friday night. Updated Saturday and it crashed out during my club’s star party last night. However… iPhone 12 Pro Max running same iOS 18.7 and SS7Pro v7.6.2 (1161) works fine - tapping “Scope” doesn’t crash SS7Pro and can connect to the scope.

Dave Whipps Fixed and submitted to Apple. Should only be a day or so. Thanks for your patience.

Garry Bluhm Dave,
👍Thanks for the quick resolution to this bug as it’s my primary means of operating my Celestron CGE with WiFi- StarSense.
