I moved one of my SkySafari 5 Observing List to SS6 Pro by emailing it to myself on an iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.5.
When I select one of the objects I logged, in order to read my log I select Edit/Create Observation, correct? A screen is displayed showing the date I observed it (which is not correct, by the way) and my LOG notes, called COMMENTS is blank.

Yes, that is one way to read the log. You can also find it in the Observations screen.
When you say the date is wrong, was it set to *now* or some other incorrect date. If it is *now* then possibly it didn't think there was an observation for the item (was it checked in the list?) and it created a new one.

No, I haven't. They problem ones were all deleted by your people at my request. I then re-installed the program but have not imported from SS4 again. I'll let you know if issues come up when I do so. Thank you for following up.
