Yes, it is in the Help. Help > Settings Help > Appearance & Behavior Help > Use Voice Control
I have gotten very little feedback about this feature. I was skeptical that this would be useful but I'd love to hear about people's experiences.
Bill, my guess is that it is going to take some time for users to get accustomed to it. I definitely want to try it out, but have other things going on which prevent me from taking the time to set up my scope to try it. Acceptance will depend on its user friendliness and its effectiveness. I am hopeful, however. Your track record is very good!

Hello Bill,
pressing the microfon symbol it will be highlighted. Does this mean it is recording ? I asked: „Find M 15 „ with the ymbol highlighted and not highlighted. Both ways there was no reaction. What is it I did wrong?
Rolf
Rolf,
Not sure what is going on. I just tried this and "Find M15" brought up the Info panel for M 15 each time.
Yes, the microphone button needs to be highlighted which indicates it is "listening".
Do you ever get get a "Command Not Recognized" message popping up? Sounds like you get no response whatsoever.
When you first turned on Voice Control, did you get 2 messages pop up? One ask if the app can access the microphone and the other gives permission to use voice dictation. You have to respond "OK" to both of those for voice recognition to work. You might try toggling Voice Control OFF and ON again. I don't recall if it will ask you again. You might have to go into the privacy settings on iOS to enabled them if you previously said "NO".
The problem could also be related to what device and iOS version you are using. We tried to catch all the cases where Voice Control was not available and tell the user, but we could have missed something.
I stumbled across coice conteoil searching ref different issue. Is this implimented in android cersion of ss6+?
No, this is only an iOS feature. It was an experimental feature and the jury is out on whether it is useful.
Given that typical search pulls up a keyboard that is only partially redened i think rhis feature could have value.
Also, for future consideration, a 4 position joystick that would replace the on screen telescope control would be a + at.least one person's view
What do you mean by "partially reddened"? We should be putting a read overlay over all of it. Please attach a screen shot if it is not.
Regarding scope control, have you tried using the "tilt to slew" feature?
Couldnt figure how to place in this so herw is a link.

Much brighter then rest of screen.
Also, i don't hold my tablet. So tilt is not an option. Plus at 75+ yo i am a little shakey😊
