I opened SkySafari 5 Pro and got a one-time offer to upgrade at half-price ($29.99 instead of $59.99). The link provided would not let me upgrade, leaong a “cannot connect” message. When I search the app store separately I get a hit for the pro 6 version that’s priced at $39.99 regular but not $59.99. Will I be able to upgrade at $29.99?

Peter Van Rijn I have a similar issue as Michael. I did use the link above on my iPad, clicked on Download Pro which took me to the App Store where the price is $54.99 and not the offered 50% off.
Details.
I have SkySafari 5 Pro on my iPad and iPhone. When I started SkySafari, I received an offer of 50% off for SkySafari 6 Pro (good till 4/31/18). I followed the link and had the same problem as Michael, it went to the Mac OS X page. I then followed the link as described in your comment as shown above.
How do I ensure that I get the 1/2 price in the App Store as it displays the full price.Peter Van Rijn

Keiron Smith Hi Guys,
As John Carter said, this link leads to the SkySafari 6 MacOS product page: https://skysafariastronomy.com/
Presently, SS6 for MacOS is on sale for $29.95 USD (reg: $59.95 USD). The promo lasts until near the end of April. Get it now. Follow the links in on SS6 MacOS product page to the Mac App Store. The price will be $29.95 USD - and converted for any exchange if using the Mac App Store though a non US country.
SkySafari 6 for iOS is not on sale. It is listed for the regular price of $39.95 USD. That is the confusion here. We advertised SS6 for MacOS is on sale. We did NOT advertise that SS6 for iOS is on sale.
Thanks!

Peter Van Rijn Thank you for the clarification.
The popup in the IOS version of SkySafari does specify macOS, which I totally missed the first time through. My anxiety for the deal must have overcome my reading comprehension skills.

Keiron Smith You're not alone here, Peter - quite a few users did exactly the same thing.

Michael Castles Should my iPhone 6 Plus still produce a pop up for the macOS discount offer upon opening the app? Since the first pop up that led to the “ cannot connect....” message it has not produced another pop up offer.

Bill Tschumy You should only see the offer once.
