[Needs Path To Reproduction] INFO/DATA Missing While Running

BUG In SKYSAFARI 6 PRO: Select a satellite such as HIMAWARI-8, then select the INFO then the DATA View. When the display is stopped you can see the data, but when the display is running the DATA Disappears.

In SKYSAFARI 4 PRO This works fine with out disapearing.

When clicking on things too rapidly the app crashes.

Would also like to edit the opacity of the orbital paths and to give an option for the sun that has a realistic turn on flare effect. Please integrate real world radar or weather data.

I'm not seeing this problem with the data disappearing when "the display is running".  Do you mean time is flowing at  the normal rate or are do you mean you are flowing time at an accelerated rate.  I've tried both and don't see a problem either way.

What version of macOS are you on?  Can you make a screen capture and attach it showing what you are seeing when the data disappears?

MacOS 10.13.3 High Sierra, V4 on the Left, V6 on the Right, Data blanks out if the time is in motion, comes back when stopped. does not do this in V4.

    Thanks

WOW!  What did you upload to create the video in this post?  Nice demo!

OK, I can reproduce this now.  It seems to only be a problem when in Orbit mode.  I will see if I can figure this out, but it is likely to be tricky.

I have fixed this.  The fix will be in 6.0.2 due out later this week.

Bill, thanks for the very quick update.

Keiron, I screen captured with QuickTime 300mb then reduced to 10mb then edited in Photoshop then exported to under 2mb.gif to post to the site.

Maybe just maybe in 6.0.3 a second or multiple windows can be opened like you have with the new tabs, but that could be viewed at the same time either in separate windows or docked. This is a composite screen capture from a Final Cut video that I pieced together from two sky safari exports and website videos. It takes multiple perspectives to understand 4d space on a 2d screen.

    Thanks again and great product,

    Hunter
