In SS6 (Pro) Mac, imported equipment from SS5 (Pro) and added new camera (Canon Rebel T3i from list) but unable to delete old camera or new camera or anything. When an item of equipment is selected the little "-" button bext to the "+" button stays greyed out.
Also possibly related (or related to the pixel size that was overriden on 1st run after moving config files across), I cannot get any of the FOV lines to display for the camera (two configured, one with a focal reducer, one without) plus one of the optical (circular) ones does not display (0.17 deg FOV).

Bill Tschumy We know about the "unable to delete equipment" problem. We made a last minute change that broke the enabling of the delete button. Even though it went through beta testing after the change, no one noticed it. We will get it fixed soon.
In the meantime you can delete it on either LiveSky or on an iOS device if they are using the same account.
I'm not seeing a problem with the camera FOV indicator. Please check you camera settings and make sure they are correct. Is this a pre-defined camera or did you enter it yourself?
It might be useful of attach screen captures showing the camera settings and the main Scope Display screen.

S Mycroft It was a custom camera (Canon 600D) but then when that didn’t work I configured in a preconfigured Canon Rebel T3i (from the list) and that didn’t work either. Attached some files that might give you more info but do ask if you need further details.
But also one of my eyepieces 6mm (AFOV 45 deg) one on a C8-SCT with a 0.13 FOV
Although I've just noticed that several of my Scope Display FOVs have lost their configuration and switched to a custom FOV (angle) with all the configured equipment now set to "None"!
And now I've found the issue. I copied my SS5 Pro confinguartion files across but the Scope display seemed to add some default e.g. 5 deg and several others at the top of the list (ones that were NOT in my SS5 set-up). When I delete these out, so my real configured FOC indicators appear. So it looks to me like you only dispay a set number of FOVs and the extra ones that appeared from nowhere at the top of the list were "preenting" my own ones from displaying.
E-mailed some screenshots and Equitment config file but e-mail bounced back. -
Nick Lim Hi, it doesn't seem like i can delete any equipment in Livesky without a premium acc... and now my equipment lists in Skysafari 6 got like 100+ of items accumulated. I desperately need to delete them. and i also got the FOV issue mentioned above. they don't appeared to be the equipment i selected... both the name and also the view. until the problem is solved, i can only use my Skysafari 5.

Bill Tschumy The fix for deleting equipment will hopefully be submitted to Apple later today.
Reply to S. Mycroft: We display the first 5 FOV indicators that are enabled. Ones after that are not shown.
Nick, if you think you really have a problem with the FOV indicators, can you explain it more clearly. If there is really a problem, I'd like to get it fixed before submitting this release.

Nick Lim just had spent more time to look into the FOV issues. and i hope this helps. but in the meantime is there any other way i can delete all equipment?

Bill Tschumy Thanks for the additional info. Right off hand I'm not sure what is going on. Could you look in Settings > Cloud Storage and tell me what the Cloud Storage ID is? That will let me look at your data in the database.
You can email it to bill@simcur.com.
I can also probably delete all you equipment if you want me to. But I'd like to understand this problem before doing so.

Bill Tschumy Nick,
I think I have figured out the FOV problem. You have added the same scope multiple times. We should be preventing this but on Mac that check was left out. Having the scope in you list more than once prevents it from being chosen for a FOV. I've added the code to prevent this. When the new release comes out you will be able to delete all but one copy and the problem should (hopefully) be solved.

Nick Lim Hi Bill, thanks for the speedy replies of those issues. I have sent you my cloud storage ID and appreciate if you could help to clear my equipment in the equipment list. many thanks!.

Bill Tschumy I have deleted all your FOV indicators and equipment. As I mentioned, the FOV problem seems to happen if a piece of pre-defined equipment is added more than once. I have added code in the new Mac update to prevent that, but until it is out, be sure not to add pre-defined equipment twice.

Nick Lim Thanks Bill!
