[Bug] Cannot Align With Celestron Wi-Fi And Celestron Evolution (Resovled)

Hi,

When I used SkySafari 6 plus on my Mac, I have two issues related to the alignment : 

  • I have no button "connect and align" (contrary to the option that is present in my iphone App) : only a button connect is present
  • After I connect to the Celestron Evolution (with Celestron Wifi), and when I hit the button align to force the realignment, nothing append...

As a matter of fact, I am unable to align anything with Macos while I did managed something with the iphone app.

(note I tried with the demon interface and nothing append .also ..)

 

What I have done wrong ?

    Hi Eric,

     

    I'm seeing a few of the same issues here. I did an alignment with my iPad but when I connect to the scope with my Mac it shows a different set of coordinates that it "thinks" it is pointing at (suffice to say the iPad is right).

    As you I've noticed the same issue with the Mac "Align" button seemingly doing nothing.

    I've also noticed there is not parity with iOS and Mac with regards to StarSense support, though this seems to be something that was clearly established and I have simply failed to research adequately beforehand.

    I too would be interested to see what the feedback is around Mac alignment.

    You are right that something seem broken with this feature.  I will look at it today and hopefully we can get it fixed before we submit a new release tomorrow.  Thanks for letting us know.

    Glad you face the same issue : it just mean that i am not a complete fool that have missed the obvious for 12 hours of trying !
