I am a guide on Kitt Peak giving night tours of the sky to the public. I have found features in Sky Safari to be very valuable teaching aid at the telescope. So, would it be possible to include the path of earth’s precession as a display option?

Bill Tschumy Phil,
If I understand you correctly, you want the path the North Celestial Pole makes against the stars during the precession cycle?
That is a fairly unusual request and I can't guarantee we will add it any time soon (if at all). We just have too many other things to attend to.
You might already know this but you can sort of show what you want by turning on the NCP marker (in Grids & Reference) and then stepping time by 1000 year increments. Make sure you have changed the Precession Epoch to "Use Current Epoch" and switch to Equatorial coordinates. To step by 1000 years, show the time panel, and tap the multiplier field in the lower left. Change it to 1000 Years.
