Problem connecting NGC MAX to Iphone or Ipad from Apple

I Have G8 with NGC-MAX push-to. Encoders are installed and connected to the RA and DEC stepmotors.

 

I know that Skysafari can accommodate with NGC-MAX 

 

Unfortunately the NGC is not respond to  Skifi 2 (from Simulation Curriculum).

 

Can someone advice  how can I connect the Ipad/Iphone (physically with communication cable)  to the NGC MAX?

  Yehuda,

  You are going to need a serial cable specific to the NGC-MAX.  A random serial cable, even though it has the right connectors, is unlikely to work.  If you don't have one, they can be obtained from ScopeStuff at a reasonable price.

  what do mean by  "Random serial cable even though it has right connectors"   ?   can you link to me explanation?

  I understand that you are talking about a serial cable connecting PC computer to NGC MAX, Am I correct?

  By the way I'm asking about connecting to Iphone /Ipad .....

  Sorry, I wasn't complete in my explanation.  If you want a wired connecting to your iPad or iPhone, you will have to use our SkyWire.

  This has a lightning connector on one end and a DB-9 serial connector on the other.  The DB-9 will plug into the NGC-MAX serial cable I was referring to that will then plug into the NGC-MAX.
