Add Opacity Control For Observing Lists Highlight Circle

Hi,

When highlighting large object lists, the display gets filled with highlight circles, making it hard to view the objects themselves. An option to control the opacity of the circles could be handy. Even more: if the opacity can go all the way to 0%, then i would be able to use the options on the list icon, like "next object" (very useful) whithout filling the screen with highlighting circles.

It would also be great to change the color of this menu, because it's currently white, and that's bad for night vision.

Another great addition would be to highlight the name of the selected object on the list, when you open the list.

I also found that when you edit an object, the comment box has no scroll capability, so if the comment is long, you cannot read it entirely (this happens in Sky Safari 5 Plus for Android).

Another thing i found, is that if an observing list has a duplicated object, using the "next object" option will remain in the same object forever.

    Which menu is white?  What version of SkySafari are you referring to?  Is this on iOS, Android or Mac?

    I will look into the duplicated object problem.  In theory, you're not supposed to be able to have an object in a list twice.  Do you recall how you did that?

    I have an Android phone and the Sky Safari version is 5 Plus.

    The white menu is the one that opens when you touch the "highlighted list icon" on the main screen (the one with options such as "next object", "open list", "unhighlight list", etc).

    The list with duplicated objects was created with another software, then the list was copied to the Sky Safari folder on google drive (it's configured to sync there).

    That menu is reddened for me in night vision.  This must be another case where some Android manufacturer changed the implementation of some UI element, breaking this feature.  What device type are you using and which version of Android?

    Yeah, we don't make any attempt to strip out duplicated objects in an observing list when they are imported.  You will probably have to do that yourself

    Well, the menu is reddened, but it's still a very big block of red, which illuminates a lot more than the rest of the screen. I wasn't very clear about that, sorry.

    Ah, I see.  Maybe I can do something about it in SkySafari 6 (and possibly tone down the highlighted circles as well)..
