Sky Safari Plus v5.4.0.0 running on Android 7.0: sometimes when Time function is used to advance time ahead of current time, the selected object's Info page event clock icons become inoperable. To get them to work again requires closing and restarting the app.

Bill Tschumy Michael,
You are the first to report this. Is the button itself non-functional or does the Info screen close but the time is just not set correctly?

Michael Magras Hi Bill, thanks for responding.
When this occurs, all of the clock icons on the object info page become inoperable; that is, they do not respond to pressing (nothing happens; info page remains, sky map not shown).
This behavior has happened repeatedly, generally after the time setting has been manipulated several times in sequences of single steps and fast forward and back. Next time it happens I can email an event log if you provide an address to which to send it.

Michael Magras PS: I've tried backing out of the object info page to sky chart, then reselecting the object info page, but clock icons are still inoperable. Restoring their functionality requires closing and restarting the app.

Keiron Smith Hi Michael,
Please email an event log to bill at simcur.com
Thanks!

Bill Tschumy Michael,
I'm not sure it will be useful, but what Keiron is talking about is sending an Android log file. You can do this from the "Email Log file" option at the bottom of the Help screen. Start the app and do whatever you do to make the buttons non-functional. Then email the log file.
Given that this hasn't been reported by others, it is probably going to be some strange interaction with other software on your device. Do you have a stock Android 7 installation of is it some custom version? What kind of device are you seeing this on?

Michael Magras Bill, just sent log file. Device is Motorola Moto G4, stock unaltered Android 7.0 system.

Michael Magras Further experimtation: seems clock icons become operable when time function is reset to current time.

Bill Tschumy Michael,
I got your log file. I don't see anything there that indicates a problem.
I just played around with this on my Android 7 device and see no problems. I can't imagine why whether the time is set to Now would make a difference.
Can anyone else reading this reproduce the issue..
