I may be missing this but it would be great, in some future update if under equipment one could list mounts as well as scopes. I just got an AVX and I put a number of scopes on it.

Bill Tschumy What would be the benefit of this? All the mounts we support are in the list in the Telescope Setup settings. You can't arbitrarily add an unsupported mount type. I suppose there is some benefit of having a shorter list to choose from and you could (potentially) give them their own alias.
The main reason for the Equipment list is to allow us to calculate FOV indicators. Of course the mount doesn't have an affect on this.

Richard Sutor Bill, thanks for getting back. I use the equipment list to keep a record of the stuff I use during a session. For instance I have an AVX mount (among others) and I put an Orion Short tube 80mm, a Sky Watcher 80mm ED, an ES 102 and other stuff on it (not all at once). The FOV doesn't concern me as much (at the moment). I have listed the mount as a custom scope which seems to work.

Bill Tschumy Richard,
OK, I can see your point. If you want to record what mount was used for an observation, it would be nice to have it as a choice. As you may have done, you can always create a custom scope that has the mount as part of the name (e.g. TEC 180 on NJP mount).

Richard Sutor Bill, will do and have done. Better, I guess, then having a lot of mounts cluttering up the equipment choices.
Thanks,

Jamesrichardson Bill, I understand the position on custom equipment. Would it be possible instead to allow the user to pick a telescope entry from the list with the appropriate mount, and then simply edit that existing entry to create a new one? For example, I have a Meade LX10 on a Celestron Advanced VX Mount. It would be useful to pick Celestron Advanced VX 8" SC and then edit the focal length and name to create a new equipment entry, vs building a new entry from scratch.
Could this be entertained as an alternative to overpopulating the list?

Bill Tschumy James,
I'll put this on the list to consider. I think it is a good suggestion.
