SkySafari Plus | Meade LX 200 Classic Connection Fail (Solution: Star-Align The Scope First Before Connecting With SkySafari)

i bought a Meade LX 200 and accessories used. It included a serial cable (RJ 11 to DB 9) but it doesn’t connect with SkySafari Plus. Do you have pinouts for the cable so I can check if this cable is defective?

    Pinouts for cables for various mounts may be found here:

    The pins for the DB-9 end are in the 3rd column.  The pins for the LX-200 are in column 10.

    The LX-200 might require a star alignment before it will connect.  Did you do one (even a fake one)?

    Thanks so much!  Cable fixed, problem solved!  Did not need to do an alignment first.
