I received a marketing email noting that SkySafari 6 Pro was on sale for Mac OS. I was interested in upgrading with the sale price, but when I logged into the Canadian App store, the sale price was removed, and it only shows the full price. Will Canadians also get offered the discounted rate?

Can you clarify what price you are seeing? The regular price of SkySafari 6 Pro for macOS is $59.99 USD which converts to $84.99 CAD on the CA Apple Store.
It is currently 50% off at $29.99 USD which converts to $39.99 CAD on the CA Apple Store.
There could be some confusion given the iOS version of SkySafari 6 Pro sells for $39.99 USD regularly.
In any event, I hope this clears things up, and feel free to submit any screenshots of exactly what you are seeing so we can investigate further if there does turn out to be an issue.

Thanks for the reply. So the US store has it listed as a 'sale price' at $29.99USD. The Canadian App store shows a regular listed price of $39.99. But the Canadian web page version shows it listed as $36.99. Maybe the App store in Canada doesn't display it as the 'sales price'?
I've been debating about updating from Sky Safari 4 to 6. If you can confirm the pricing, that would be great. Thanks. -
Bill Tschumy Please read Matt's response carefully. The regular price for macOS SkySafari 6 Pro is $59.99 USD, not $39.99 USD. This converts to $84.99 CAD. The sale price is $39.99 CAD which I think is what you are seeing.

Dominicnero I understand Bill. I just want to confirm. As the US store lists it as a sale price, where the CDN store mentions nothing of the sale price. I'll assume that the CDN App store doesn't list 'sale' prices as they do in the US. I was also trying to figure out the discrepancy between the CDN App price on the Web page vs the App store.
If the full price on the CDN app store is $84.99, then that does reflect the sale price, thank you. Unfortunately, unlike the US app store, it doesn't reflect the price as full or sale price in the CDN app store.
By the way, those screen shots are from the Canadian app store and reflect the prices in CDN. -
Bill Tschumy I don't see anything on the US store that indicates this is a sale price. In reality, there are no "sales" on the Mac or iOS store. We just lower the price and that is the new price until we raise it again. In any case, it seems like you are seeing the sale price.
