I'm having issues with the time setting in the program. It won't sync with my computers time when I select, use current time. It has the proper time displayed but its 12 hour off, so when my computers displaying PM as it is now while I'm posing this, the app is displaying it as AM. Not exactly sure how to fix the problem. I'm been through all the setting and can find nothing that will help. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. Running on a 2010 Macbook Pro with 10.11.6 version of El Cap. with Skysafari version 6. Thanks for any help anyone can provide

Bill Tschumy Anthony,
First, you are posting in the wrong forum. This is the "Forum Feedback Only" forum. You should post this in the "SkySafari | OS X Apps" forum. I will move it after I reply.
My first thought is you don't have your location set correctly. SkySafari shows the time from the location your chart is set to. Please go to Settings > Location and make sure the location Lat/Lon is correct as well as the time zone setting.

Anthony Johnson Yeah that’s not it. I got the coordinates for my location from the internet and inputted them correctly. I picked west longitude, not east which would make the problem seem correct. So I’m just not sure why it’s 12hours off. And it’s exact. Right now while I’m typing this my computer says the time is 2:20 pm my app says it’s 2:20 am with use current time selected.

Anthony Johnson Oh one other thing, even though the time is 12 hours off the objects are located on the chart in their proper places.

Bill Tschumy Even though your location is correct, did you use the correct time zone?
What happens if you choose "Use Current Location from the Settings > Location screen?
You could also try "Choose Location From List" and find a city near you. Is the chart correct then?

Anthony Johnson I used, pick a location from the map, found the site, dropped a pin and voila, works great. Time is correct, and the chart is also. Thanks for your help.

Bill Tschumy Great. You must have had something entered incorrectly when you did it manually.

Anthony Johnson Looked the same to me, but hey it works now and that’s all that matters, now it will log my observations with the proper time stamp. Thanks again.
