After leaving the app running in the background and returning, this is the view WHILE dragging the view around. When I stop dragging the view appears normal with the sky etc.

Gervais Parent I had a similar problem... let the app for a long time and when I return, the menu bar was completely black... when I move the sky, menu bar come back!

Bill Tschumy We will take a look and see if we can reproduce this.
I have just released SkySafari 6 to production on Google Play so this will have to get taken care of in a bug fix release.
