Our astronomy group cannot get our modern iMac computer and Starry night pro plus 7 software to recognise our 2005 version CPC Series Celestron (NexStar handset) in spite of ordering the correct cables Starry night says "there is no connection,check cables etc".
We have been connecting the handset directly to a USB port in the iMac using the appropriate converter.( RS232)

John-priscille We have since ordered a version 5 handset hoping that will solve the problem as the hardware has not changed much since 2005?
