Bill Tschumy We just released SkySafari 6.0.2.26. Here is what is new:
- Fixed problem with error handling when downloading extension catalogs and you are out of disk space.
- Fixed crash when emailing the Android log file on Android 8+
- Fixed problem where the busy cursor could be left onscreen if there is an error when emailing an observing list.
- Fixed URLs for rating the app.
- Fixed problem where the time flow and scope control panels wouldn't always get redrawn correctly when going in and out of night vision.
- Fixed problem with getting a spinning busy indicator when adding Equipment and your LiveSky backup is off.
- Prevent showing the Galaxy View when in Orbit mode.
- Reposition HR Diagram if it is mostly offscreen when shown. -
Hugo de Graaf Selected M15, Center, Info, pressed the Galaxy symbol, CRASH.

Brad Weaver I've reported the same crash issue except the order for me is:
Connect to Celestron Wifi Telescope
Go to Tonight's Best,
Select Object to view info,
Center
CRASH

Bill Tschumy I'm not seeing this on any of my devices so there must be something more subtle going on. I will see if I can find any crash reports on Google Play that might shed some light on this.
I will look into why the grids are not being turned off in orbit mode. If I recall, that is a setting that you can optionally turn on in orbit mode (and it will be remembered), but it should be off by default.

Brad Weaver I just did some further testing and I was able to get it to crash when going repeatedly to Tonight's Best, selecting an object, clicking Center even without connecting to my scope. I just uploaded feedback and a system log to Google Play.

Bill Tschumy Sometimes it is hard to match up the crash reports on Google Play. It would also help if you could run the app after the crash and send me an Android log file using the "Help > Send Log File" feature. Send it to "bill@simcur.com" and add some text saying what you were doing to cause the crash.
