Custom Telescope Interface | Does SkySafari Support Celestron's Command To Get Precise AZM-ALT By Sending “Z”?

Hello All,

I am working on a custom telescope control system and the Celestron telescope manual makes reference to a command called Get precise AZM-ALT by sending “z”.  Does anyone know if any of the Celestron telescopes supported under SkySafariPro 6 support this command?

    Jason,

    When we ask for the Celestron scope's location, we send the "e" command.  We never ask for an Alt/Az position.  We do the conversion from RA/Dec to Alt/Az within SkySafari.

    Hi Bill,

    Thanks for your feedback.  I'll just convert the Alt/Az to RA/DEC then before sending it to SkySafari.
