I cannot get my starry night pro plus on a MacOS high Sierra computer to communicate with the NexStar+ hand set on a CPC Celestron telscope.
I have upgraded the CPC handset from version 4 to version 5, plus a 5-Pin Mini B Cable to fit into the NexStar+ handset. ( and not a R232 as that was with the old NexStar version 4 handset which did not work either).
I now know that the data cables are okay, that is usb on the iMac to mini B on the handset,as the computer clearly powers the handset.
I have now got "initialize" on the handset,and have already installed this driver.PL2303, but on starry night software there is no option to connect via a USB port only wifi and ethernet etc. I am also able to get on the handset "Boot loader serial user keypad entry"
Please help!
