How to Transfer Files from SS 5 Pro to SS 6 Pro on Android?

 Hi All-

I just purchased SS Pro 6. I have loved SkySafari Pro since version 4, and this looks to be even better, especially in the planning/logging areas. That said, I have a large amount of personal data (equipment, locations, observing logs, etc.) that I would like to transfer over from SS 5 Pro to SS 6 Pro. In SS 5, these files were backed up to my Google Drive. Looks like the cloud storage for SS 6 Pro is LiveSky.com. I just signed up for an account there.

My questions:

1) Are the file formats even compatible between SS 5 Pro and SS 6 Pro?

2) If so, how would one go about transferring them from 5 to 6, given the limitations on android apps reading data from other apps?

In case it makes any difference, I'm running Android version 9.0.0 on an Essential PH-1. (I also plan to run this on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running ?? for field use)

    The first section in the Help is entitled: "Migrating from SkySafari 5 to SkySafari 6".  It should explain everything.

    The SS4 data should compatible just as SS5 is.

    Thanks, Bill. In my experiences with other software/apps, the "Help" file is rarely, if ever, helpful, so I didn't even think to look there! (Also, thanks for not telling me to 'RTFM' in those precise terms. ;) )
