Why Does The App Need Permission To Modify/Delete/Read The Contents Of My SD Card?

The app stores its data on the internal SD card.  This includes things like the current app settings as well as "saved" settings.  We also download the latest data on satellites, asteroids and comets and store that on the SD card as well.
