When I connect my Orion XX16g to my android tablet, SkySafari Pro is not able to communicate with the telescope. I connect the tablet to the XX16g with cables. the XX16g does not have WiFi or Bluetooth capability I believe. The ap only gives choices for connecting via Bluetooth or WiFi but the XX16g doesn't have those capabilities I have to connect the tablet to the telescope using cables. Is there anything I can do?

Keiron Smith Hi Jere,
SkySafari on Android can not only connect using WiFi or Bluetooth. You need our SkyFi 3 or SkyBT device.

Thanks!

jere.yost69 After reading the descriptions by following your links, it appears the SkyFi 3 utilizes an internet connection. What if I am at a remote dark sky site such as in the mountains where there is no Internet? Would it not work then?
Would the SkyBT work without Internet?
