I wanted to ask to improve the database
1) Add a new type of object - a cluster of galaxies. And add support for Abell catalog and so on.
2) I want to add my own objects (not catalogs). For example, the object is in not the database and I added it myself. This is something like a separate list of objects. Such functions have a many programs.
1. Right now we handle galaxy clusters by adding the cluster name to each galaxy in the cluster. We realize it would also be useful to have the cluster as its own object. If you search for (say) Abell 22, you will find all the galaxies n that cluster.
2. We have been hoping to add this feature for many years. Hopefully it will get done in the next year.
1) This is not convenient when I want to record a log for the Abell object 426. For example.
2) Maybe I can solve the problem with Abell 426, if I can add my custom object.
This will also be useful, as I regularly find missing objects in the database. For example. S & T Magazine issue for August 2018. Article by Sue French. There are no half objects in the SkySafari base. For example, Sh 2-121, Sh 2-120 and many others.
