On my iPad Mini the download of Minor Body Elements from MPC for comets and asteroids isn't possible. So 46P/Wirtanen has got wrong orbit elements too and a wrong position in the sky chart.

I just looked in SS5 and it looks like the orbit data epic for Wirtanen is Dec 7, 2018. It is plotting the comet very close to where I saw it last night.
When you say "download of Minor Body Elements from MPC for comets and asteroids isn't possible", what do you mean? I forget if SS5 downloads the comet data from MPC, JPL or Lowell. It the download totally failing or is it just getting data with an older epoch?

Andreas Schnabel The comet (46P) hast got a wrong position. In the Settings/Solar System dialog the info "Updating Minor Body Orbit Data..." doesn't change.

Bill Tschumy I am seeing it in the correct position.
1. Go to the Object Info for the comet and scroll to the bottom section called Orbital Parameters. What is the Obit Epoch? I'm seeing Dec 07, 2018.
2. Are you sure the time in the chart is set to the current time?
3. How far off is it? A few degrees or in a totally different part of the sky.
