I just had SkySafari update the minor body orbits, and noticed that it currently ends at C/2018 X3. Just today, a CBET announced the discovery of C/2018 Y1 (IWAMOTO), which should be nice and bright in February. Do the app authors have to upload the new orbit data to a SkySafari database periodically, or does the user's download go directly to the Minor Planet Center for data? In other words, when would you expect the orbital elements for this comet to appear in the database?
I suppose that a parallel feature request would be the ability to enter one's own orbital elements, which I used to have to do back in the day when I used Voyager.
