if you're interested I've configured an iPad to manipulate SN8 on a Windows 10 Desktop using TightVNC. Goal was not to run back and forth and stay at the telescope.
The iPad has Sky Safari installed for a real time overlay and then I switch to the VNC Window and work with SN8 on the laptop. Pretty slick.
