With help from Bill Tschumy I have narrowed my connection problem down to my Moto G4. First both my wife's new Galaxy S9 and her old Galaxy S5 will bring up the Skyfi settings page when I type in 10.0.0.1 in a browser. But my phone keeps giving me a "This site can't be reached" and "10.0.0.1 took too long to respond" message.
Unfortunately the various tabs under "Settings" on her Samsung phones are different enough from what my Moto G4 displays, such that I'm not able to make a full comparison as to what android settings need to be changed on my G4. My phone has the latest android version with latest updates.
Any help from fellow Moto G4 users would be most appreciated. I am so close, yet still so far from controlling my Celestron AVX remotely.
