SN8P (and SN7P) won't permit the year field to be overtyped e.g. changing the year "2100" to "6000" to see the precession of the north celestial pole in the attached. The first digit can be entered but the second digit causes SN8P to go immediately to 99999 and nothing more can be entered. SN6P handled this field correctly.
