Is The Upgrade To SN8 Pro Worth It In Terms Of The Improved Database?

I don't use Starry Night to control a telescope and cloud storage is irrelevant to me so the main reason to upgrade to v8 would be if the database was a lot better.  The $99 upgrade fee is pretty steep so I don't want to spend it unless I'm going to get a significant improvement.

Anyone have any info on the details of the DB improvements?
