If the last bit of text entered as an Observation happens to be a piece of predictive text, the complete Observation is displayed as normal but the whole Observation is NOT saved.
If the Observation ends with any keyed character it is saved as normal.

I can reproduce this. What a strange bug.
Well, now I can no longer reproduce this. This has to be some subtle bug in Android.
If you can still get this to happen, does it always set the observation text to blank, or does it use what was last saved there? So if you typed some text and saved it and then went back and used the predictive text as the last thing, does it save blank or does it save the last saved text?
I can't reproduce this now either! But it happened regularly before I reported it. How weird.
