Where are the 2 2.79 GB files located so I can toss them as they are taking up space. A direct path please.

  There is data, steamed to your Sky Data folder.

  (Windows) \Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Simulation Curriculum\Starry Night Prefs 8\

  (macOS) /Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Application Support/Simulation Curriculum/Starry Night Prefs 8/

  I don't actually know what other data/files you are looking for.

  I use a free program called OmniDiskSweeper which will scan an entire hard drive, show the sizes of all files, show exact paths to those files, and allow you to delete the files.  I find this program to be invaluable for reclaiming lost hard drive space.  Please check it out.

  Those files are fine, looking for 2 aborted update downloads that did not install. If you read first post on the 21st you can see also it's the 2, 2.79gb files, as I had to go to manual download and install to get back to working SN8
